I love my new cut and appreciated the product suggestions she offered that I can play with as I style at home.

Such a great experience today! First time here and was already encouraged by the questionnaire I had to fill out before my appointment that asked a lot of very relevant questions about my hair. Today when I arrived (accidentally early) the atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly which was another encouraging sign. The haircut itself was fantastic. Agata actually listened to what I wanted and took into account what I told her about the way my hair curls and made every adjustment I asked for. And when I said I didn’t like a lot of product in my hair she…didn’t put in a lot of product! I felt very involved in the haircut and I love the result. First haircut in years where I have not gone home and immediately washed whatever styling they did out so I could see what it would really look like. I highly recommend for anyone with curly hair who has been endlessly searching for a true curly cut. I’ll definitely be back.

Kyle is a hair assassin. It was my first time seeing her and she killed it. I have naturally wavy hair and this is the best haircut and style I have ever had. You know how it takes like 7-10 days for a haircut to grow in? No wait here. She gave me a lived-in haircut that requires minimal styling (one product!) and looks like I’ve been at the beach. This was my 1st time at Milk, Honey and Soul. I booked my appointment with Tyler after searching Instagram for the right stylist to give me the haircut I wanted. The salon is about 30min from my house but I don’t mind the drive. The salon is easy to find and has plenty of parking in the back. The salon itself is clean and comfortable with great decor. Everyone greeted me when I entered and offered me refreshments. Tyler was ready for me when I arrived and immediately started asking questions about my hair and what I wanted. Tyler was very thorough and listened to my concerns. I love that they took the time to really work with my natural hair and educated me on how to style it. I didn’t even know my hair could naturally look this wavy lol. I am very happy with my haircut and over all salon experience. Will definitely go back and 100% recommend! Thank You!

I was under a lot of stress coming back to the states and traveling from work to make our appointment on time, and Kyle instantly could tell I needed a drink. Patty has been my go to for a curly haircut since I moved back to jersey in July 2022. I have had curly cuts for 10 years now but she has definitely been the best in terms of keeping length while adding volume. She also provides really helpful curly hair care tips. For my last appointment I wanted to do something different and add color to my hair. I was definitely torn on different color shades and showed her a few different photos. The color she achieved was exactly what I envisioned! I was definitely worried that my curls would be badly affected but they have hardly been changed after the coloring. I have already booked a follow up color appointment - and I\'m really looking forward to experimenting with color with her guidance!

Bri is an amazing stylist who really listens well to their clients. I was looking for a queer/non-binary friendly stylist and they were perfect. I had a great experience all the way through. From walking into the salon to leaving. The salon energy is light-filled and very friendly. Even the music throw-backs were great! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone! I will be coming back again. Just note that they don’t take tip! If you want to pay cash, it is only exact and there was a processing fee of 2.50 for my $90 90-minute appointment ($92.50 total).
